Alchemist Information

Alchemist is a SAS-to-cloud migration acceleration toolkit by T1A. It analyzes a SAS estate, converts SAS code to PySpark with a deterministic, AST-based engine, and automates the migration around it, so the whole process has a known scope, a known timeline and consistent output. What the toolkit does • Analysis: Code Analyzer, Log Analyzer and Metascope inventory your SAS code, logs and metastore, map dependencies and lineage, and measure the scope before anyone commits to it. • Conversion: a deterministic converter turns SAS Base scripts, Enterprise Guide projects and DI jobs into PySpark, using the metadata inside EG projects and DI jobs, not only their code. Same input, same output, every run. An LLM pass is available as an optional second step. • Automation: an end-to-end migration framework, change management, self-service conversion through the UI, API and coding agents, and a SAS-cloud coexistence framework for running both side by side during the move. Targets Databricks and Snowflake; the output is also compatible with Microsoft Fabric. Runs hosted or offline in your own environment.
