Alaska Conservation Foundation Information

Founded in 1980, Alaska Conservation Foundation is the only foundation in Alaska and the country solely dedicated to the protection of Alaska’s natural environment and the diverse cultures and ways of life it sustains. We drive long-term conservation impact by leading critical initiatives, deploying focused grants and providing strategic support where it’s needed most to ultimately protect the magnificence of Alaska for today and the future. Our leadership and investment are made possible by the generosity of individual donors, foundations and businesses from around the country who share our passion for the Great Land. We serve as a conduit between these generous people and a diverse community of nonprofit and tribal organizations working across the state on conservation and environmental justice.
