The company has one operational segment, which includes production, grading, marketing and distribution of fresh eggs. It also offers speciality eggs from birds fed on diets designed to increase the nutritional content of the eggs. The company’s in-house veterinarians monitor flocks at each stage of production, always looking for ways to enhance the health and well-being of the birds. The chicken and quail eggs as well as meats are produced locally from a flock that is fed on an all-natural vegetable diet and zero hormones. Al Bustan’s flocks, eggs, and production facilities are subject to both internal and external audits and controls so that the company can guarantee its standards meet or exceed industry expectations. Al Bustan has invested heavily in the latest poultry farm equipment that modern technology offers such as digitally controlled incubators, hatcheries, environment control systems, automated halal process slaughterhouse and packing machines.
