Al Bawsala Information

Al Bawsala is a non-profit NGO established under Tunisian law. The organisation is independent from all political influence. Al Bawsala has three main objectives: - Repositioning citizens at the core of political action by through citizen participation tools. - Building relationships with elected representatives and decision-makers in order to work towards the establishment of good governance and political ethics. - Participating in defending social progress and citizen empowerment. Al Bawsala has three ongoing projects: 1) Marsad Majles, a parliamentary observatory, 2) Marsad Budget, an observatory of public policy and the budgetary process, 3) Marsad Baladia, a municipal observatory.
