aktör & vänner is a venue and production house for independent performance artists with strong and personal artistic agendas. The venue is located at Masthuggsterrassen 3 in Gothenburg, Sweden next door to Masthuggsteatern. Since 2008 it's run as a platform by four performance artists; Johan Forsman, Åsa Gustafsson, Johan Rödström and David Sperling. We are interested in performing arts as a meeting or an interaction, rather than as a product to consume. Besides producing our own performances, aktör & vänner also runs a residence program, arranges festivals, guest performances and tours.
