Aks Wind Energy Corp. is a British Columbia-based floating-wind project developer and industry builder. We evaluate floating wind power technologies and develop the projects, First Nations relationships, research partnerships, workforce capability, marine infrastructure, industrial pathways, and financing structures required to move opportunities toward deployment. Our work is focused on British Columbia’s coastal energy opportunity—from remote and distributed energy systems, ports and marine infrastructure, and industrial loads to grid-edge applications and future larger-scale development. Aks Wind brings together project development, technology evaluation, government and stakeholder relationships, marine and industrial capability, and international clean-energy commercialization experience to help build a Canadian floating-wind industry from the Pacific coast outward. Aks Wind unites Indigenous leadership, technology depth, and major projects development experience to unlock floating-wind power opportunities across British Columbia and Canada.
