George Tatar founded Akruto, Inc. in 2010. An avid Outlook user, George found he wasn't satisfied with the synchronization solutions available to sync his Windows Phone with Outlook. Since he kept his entire life in Outlook, he wanted a reliable and secure way to keep his data updated at all times without going through the cloud. He set out on a mission to develop a solution for his own use. While he was working on the first version of AkrutoSync, George learned that many Windows Phone users all over the world shared their frustrations about the lack of good sync options in user fourms. Inspired by the users' need, he left his engineering job in early 2013 to devote all his time testing, perfecting and enhancing AkrutoSync. Today, AkrutoSync is helping Outlook power users everywhere keep their data safe, secure and readily accessible on all their devices. No cloud, no Google, no Outlook.com.
