Akerman Films began operations in 1990 as a Production Company with a TV show that aired in one of the very few Argentinean cable channels at the time. Shortly after that, we opened up a division of crews rental and started providing crews and production services to companies all around the world ever since. As of today, have shot TV shows, feature films, documentaries, advertising commercials and corporate videos in every Latin American country. We´ve shot in every format available, in desserts, mountains, lakes, woods, forest, even in cities. We´ve carried jibs to the Iguazu falls, we´ve climbed to the snowed peak of the Lanin Volcano, we´ve travelled the Inca Trail, we´ve been underwater, over ice, in the jungle, in helicopters, blimps, we´ve shot trains, crocodiles, sandy dessert dunes, music bands, we´ve filmed in super 35mm, HD, SD, miniDV, DigiBeta, XDCam, Hi8, 3,4 and 5k... Really, what´s next? we are fortunate enough to say that, among our clients, we have some of the world´s leading industries and netorks, such as: MTV, NICKELODEON, DISCOVERY NETWORKS, NHK (Japan), NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL, ORACLE, CHANNEL 9 (Australia), INFINITO CHANNEL, PAKA PAKA, EDUC.AR, DISNEY CHANNEL, PEOPLE AND ARTS, CANON, HOME DEPOT, FIRESTONE, SAN LUIS CINE, AL JAZEERA, DON KING PRODUCTIONS, DO-RO (Germany), BBC (London), E-ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION, RTL (Holland), CITIBANK, FOOTHILL COMMUNICATIONS (London), MADISON SQUARE GARDEN NETWORK.
