This service makes it as easy as possible for people and companies to send elegant handwritten letters at scale allowing them to communicate in a more personal and meaningful way again, helping improve relationships, retention rates, engagement and ROI. In Spain alone, companies invest more than €2 Billion a year in personalized mailings, it's the second largest marketing investment after TV with a 2.5% inter annual growth rate (Infoadex), but not much has been done to innovate in this space. The startup is named after Ake Viking, a Swedish sailor who in 1956 wrote a letter, tossed it in the ocean in a bottle and years later he ended up marrying Paolina, the woman who found his letter on the Sicilian coasts. The story demonstrates the power that the handwritten letter can have in fostering deeper connections and long lasting relationships.
