Established in 2015, The Massillon Gun Range at AJ Harris Tactical combines the best of both worlds. The state of the art gun range and full service gun store have combined to fulfill the needs of all shooters across all levels of marksmanship training and ability. There is fun to be had by the whole family with hunters safety education for kids, bowling pin shoots and IDPA for more experienced shooters, or a night devoted solely to women. Our company motto is, and has always been, Better Tactics = Better Results. We welcome shooters of all ages to our clean and friendly atmosphere. Our friendly sales staff will always greet you and welcome you. Our range officers have years of experience, keep the range operating safely, and will be glad to help if the need arises. AJ Harris Tactical LLC was established in 2014 by Massillon natives, Amy and Jason Harris. While eating breakfast at a well known local restaurant, as they did often, they realized starting a business in town was something both of them had always dreamed of. Amy and Jason came up with the idea to open a coffee shop. After hatching this plan they quickly realized they knew nothing about coffeenow what!? With Jasons extensive knowledge in firearms instruction and background in gunsmithing they thought Massillon needed a gun store. It wasnt much later that they opened their first location at 109 Erie St N. Within just a few months, and after Massillons very warm welcome, it was evident that they would need to expand and find a larger location. In late December of 2014 they bid on the Old Salvation Army building located at the corner of Tremont and 1st Street SE. which today they call home. Renovations of the existing building with the addition of the two story Massillon Gun Range quickly were put into place.
