Airsafe is an occupational hygiene consultancy and NATA-accredited laboratory based in Sydney. Since 1988, we've provided fast, expert support for identifying hazardous materials, investigating contaminated sites, and testing indoor air quality. We're the longest continuously operating NATA-accredited asbestos and occupational hygiene consultancy in Australia (NATA accreditation number 2959), and we were the first Australian laboratory accredited to test lead paint by portable XRF. Our occupational hygiene team monitors and assesses the full range of workplace health hazards: mould, welding fumes, silica, dust, indoor air quality and noise. On the asbestos side, we have seven Licensed Asbestos Assessors on staff, where most consultancies have one, backed by our in-house laboratory for asbestos identification and air monitoring. Airsafe doesn't do removal or remediation. We assess the hazard, write the specification, supervise the licensed removalist, and issue the clearance. Our advice is completely independent. Since 1988 we've worked for Sydney's major hospitals, councils and universities, Defence sites, builders including Multiplex, Lend Lease and Built, and organisations like Sydney Water, Sydney Trains and the NSW Department of Education.
