Aircargoeye.com (ACE) is a hard-hitting, news-style online information source for the global air cargo business. ACE offers subscribers “unvarnished” editorial content, as well as satire and controversial commentary, says publisher Nigel Tomkins, former owner and launch editor of Air Cargo News. Tomkins is joined in the project by former BBC News online journalist Thelma Etim, who was previously deputy editor of Air Cargo News. She is editor of the new project and brings fresh vision and a hungry attention to detail. “We will cover all those things that other air cargo sites do not. ACE will dig into matters deeply – even if people are not used to this approach,” she says. Between them, Tomkins and Etim have more than 35 years’ experience in the air cargo publishing business. “Don’t bother with ACE if you’re looking for the same old PR stuff you get elsewhere,” says Tomkins.
