Airborne Images Information

Airborne Images was the first company in over 20 years to be be granted permission to film aerials in Yosemite National Park. Thanks to the persistent efforts and expertise of producer Josh Helling, we secured permission from the US Department of the Interior that allowed us to fly throughout the park for Josh's client, Gulo Films. On June 4th, we flew numerous missions to all areas of the park with an AS350B2 and a GSS C520 system carrying the Sony F55 to capture the first ever 4k aerials of the park. The first picture shows us lined up for a camera run down the valley with Half Dome on the left side of the windscreen.
