Air Control Wing overvåger, kontrollerer og indsætter fly til afvisning af krænkelser i dansk luftrum - samt bidrager til gennemførelse af luftoperationer i både nationalt og internationalt regi. I vores operationsrum i Karup sidder militære operatører døgnet rundt og har radiokontakt med vores fly. Vi bidrager til gennemførelse af flyvekontrol og informationstjeneste i Kastrup. I den forbindelse varetages den daglige kontakt til de civile lufttrafik myndigheder, herunder koordination af daglig militær anvendelse af luftrum til operative formål.
