The Advertising & Illustrative Photographers Association (AIPA) was founded as an incorporate society in 1978 to represent the interests of professional advertising and editorial photographers. The Association supports and nurtures the photographic profession through education initiatives, seminars, exhibitions, information sharing, publications and networking events. The AIPA is committed to protecting photographers' moral and intellectual property rights, while also cultivating public interest in photography both as an art form and a communication medium.
