AIMMAP Information

AIMMAP - Association of Metallurgical and Mechanical Engineering Industry and Similar industries of Portugal, founded in 1957, is a national and non-profit employers association. AIMMAP it’s a public utility since 1996, having been awarded in 2017 with the Order of Merit of Business - Class of Industrial Merit -, by the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. Our Mission is to represent the companies of the Metallurgical and Mechanical sector, both in the national and international scene contributing to the dynamism and the promotion of the members and the sector. Our Goal is to support the metallurgical industry and metalworking in the areas of innovation, training, internationalization and effective cooperation. In the context of our Mission and for the fulfilment of our Objectives AIMMAP launched the brand METAL PORTUGAL to better promote the industry and to put it into a higher level of perception and quality vision of the future.
