AIMH Information

At AIMH, our initial focus is ADHD. ADHD is not only a childhood condition, and is not restricted to males. But one of the core features is the difficulty with executive function: if we want to build a sand castle...how do we get from the sand to the castle? The other core feature of ADHD is that it isn't a "one size fits all"! There is tremendous variability in the way an individual may respond to treatment, and the process of finding the best fit (medication, if required + non-medication) can be difficult... AIMH uses AI methods to map together elements that can impact how individuals are likely to respond to treatment. Our approach centres around building prediction models and a decision support tool, to facilitate a collaborative decision-making process. Clinical profile, genetic and environmental factors are key!
