Ailanto Information

Ailanto, an ornamental tree known as the “tree of heaven”, is the brand created by the twin brothers Iñaki and Aitor, recognized for their unique prints, handcrafted designs and use of noble materials. Founded in 1995, both brothers graduated from Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona. Iñaki completed his studies with a degree in Fashion Design, while Aitor specialized in Landscaping and Botanics. Their passion for art and beauty reflects the precious worlds of painters, sculptors and landscape painters of artistic movements of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Their creative process begins with the design of the prints, which are developed using various painting techniques such as collage, tempera, watercolour and oil paint. From them the pieces of the collection will be composed, with the help of modelling techniques the prints will be drawing their own volumes.
