AI4IV is a European deep-tech company developing bio-inspired vision sensors and on-silicon AI designed to enable reliable machine perception in the real world. Inspired by biological compound eyes, AI4IV’s patented FlyEye™ technology captures artifact-free images across extreme lighting conditions, providing clean and information-rich visual data for AI systems. Our sensors combine the adaptability of neuromorphic vision with the scalability of digital CMOS technology, creating a new class of vision devices optimized for real-time machine perception. The technology has been validated through multiple silicon prototypes and is now progressing toward product release. AI4IV’s camera chips are designed not only to acquire high-quality images, but also to extract meaningful information directly at the sensor through integrated on-chip AI processing. AI4IV targets applications where reliable perception is critical, including autonomous mobility, industrial machine vision, robotics, security and surveillance, and smart agriculture. Currently we are developing and bringing to market a completely new vision sensor technology, which combines the advantages of neuromorphic devices with those of digital CMOS devices. No other technologies currently available provide this unique combination or are based on similar concepts. Our vision sensors technology has been validated with two different silicon prototypes and we expect to shift soon to full-fledged product development to make available camera chips that can acquire images without artifacts even in the most challenging light conditions and that can extract the relevant information from the scene with an innovative on-die integrated AI processor. Our target use cases include autonomous vehicles, machine vision, robotics, security & surveillance, and agriculture.
