Agromag Ltd. is mainly a seed company actively involved in domesticating and representing different varieties of the most important field crops in Hungary. The company is a market oriented private enterprise established by Hungarian agricultural engineers who had been working in the seed business for a long time. Since the beginning the firm has been developing dynamically, its field of activity has been widened and formed continuously. The company deals with grain seed production, process and trade. We domesticate and represent varieties from the following species: maize, sunflower, winter wheat, spring wheat, spring barley, winter barley, winter durum wheat, oat, triticale, soybean, hemp, Agromag directly tests the varieties and handles the official registration procedure. It has been producing and selling the seed directly of the represented varieties of the above mentioned species for 20 years. The basis of the quality seed production is our modern seed plant situated at Telekgerendás, in the south-eastern part of Hungary. The container dryer is suitable for drying 120 containers in the same time. In 2000 we increased the capacity by building a new dryer for sunflower seed. In 2011 we built a new seed treating and packaging line. We are able to do the seed tretment on a high level fit to the highest standards. Agromag Ltd. has become one of the most significant firms in the seed business in the last decade. We also represent some Hungarian breeders abroad. The most important ones are the barley varietes of Fleishmann Rudolf Research Institute, Kompolt. KH Tas is one of the best yielder and most reliable winter barley variety in Middle-Europe. The company was established in 1990 and has the same name from the beginning. However its field of activity widened continuosly.
