Launched in 2008 by a small team of people with loads of ideas and eager to work, Agroknow has grown over the years to consist of a team with different expertise, including agronomists, web designers, information scientists, software engineers and web developers capable of providing integrated solutions to an increasingly demanding market . Today, Agroknow is an active contributor in European and international standardisation initiatives in relation to the agricultural data representation and storage, with involvement in fora such as the Agricultural Information Management Standards (AIMS) of the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (FAO) and the Coherence in Information for Agricultural Research for Development (CIARD).
