Agora Planning + Design provides planning and design services for a broad range of projects and clients. No project is too small or too big from single block urban infill to ten thousand acre master planned communities. Consulting services for all aspects of the planning and development process are provided. Both policy planning and entitlement approvals as well as the physical design and placemaking are part of Agora Planning + Design's expertise. Agora Planning + Design was founded by Steve McCormick, LEED AP. Mr. McCormick has over 30 years of experience working in planning and architecture firms and was a principal at RNM Design (formerly Richardson Nagy Martin). His passion for working with others to creatively and successfully solve land development issues is what motivates and inspires him each and every day. The word "Agora" is a Greek word for a central gathering area or marketplace typically found in villages, towns and cities globally. Agoras have existed since the beginning of civilization and are still an important contemporary concept used in urban planning and the practice of placemaking. They are the focal points and landmarks that represent the heart and soul of some of the most successful and sought-after destinations in the world.
