AGORA' 2000 is an international consultancy providing professional advice and technical assistance services to businesses, governments, institutions and donor organisations for the development of stable, diversified and private sector-led economies in the developing and emerging countries of the world. AGORA' 2000 was set up in Rome in 1987 as a traditional European Bureau d’Etudes, a centre for the implementation of studies in applied economics, geared to support the formulation and analysis of public and private investment decisions. Since its establishment, AGORA' 2000 has maintained its commitment to research, innovation, quality and excellence, and its services have progressively expanded towards technical assistance, management and implementation of complex projects and programmes, monitoring and evaluation, as well as capacity building and training activities. In the past twenty-five years, AGORA' 2000 has implemented over 150 assignments in more than 70 countries in Africa, the Caribbean, the Pacific, the Indian Ocean, the wider Mediterranean Region, Latin America, Asia, as well as Europe and the Balkans.
