Striving to provide the best healthcare to all. Salina Family Healthcare Center (SFHC) offers comprehensive services for all, no exceptions. SFHCs roots in equitable, full-service healthcare date back to our founding in 1979. Over time, our team has added dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy to our offerings to better serve our patients. Through this work, SFHC has redefined its mission as being to serve the community at the crossroads of compassionate healthcare and professional education. Salina Health Education Foundation, Inc. (SHEF) was founded in 1979 by Dr. Robert Brown as the non-profit corporate sponsor of a community-based rural-focused family medicine residency program, Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program. Smoky Hill has produced class after class of highly dedicated and excellent physicians, most of whom serve rural Kansas. Salina Cares was founded in 1991 by visionary health professionals as a volunteer-led clinic to serve the low income uninsured of Salina. Smoky Hill began providing resident physicians to staff Salina Cares in 1998. In early 2004, Salina Cares merged with SHEF/Smoky Hill and a new clinic name Salina Family Healthcare Center (SFHC) was selected to reflect the long history of service to the community. SFHC became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) on December 1, 2004.

The Free Clinic of Central Virginia envisions a community where everyone has access to quality healthcare services. Our mission is to provide primary medical, dental, pharmacy, and health education services to those in Central Virginia who do not have the resources to obtain these basic healthcare services.

San Francisco Medical Center Outpatient Improvement Programs, Inc. (DBA) South of Market Health Center (SMHC) was established in the State of California as a community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and established SMHC as a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in 1973. SMHC was one of the first community health clinics in San Francisco and originated as a direct response to the inner city's lack of access to health care to the poor and medically underserved. For over 40 years, SMHC has operated on the principle that healthcare is a right of every citizen, and a mission to increase access to care, regardless of the individual's cultural, social, or economic circumstance. In addition to expanding the range of basic health services, for which South of Market Health Center is known, SMHC has expanded services to three additional sites in SF to provide access to dental, pediatric and behavioral health services for this community.
