After Hours Studio is a New York creative direction and design office for beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands. We make hot brands smarter and smart brands hotter. Every brief starts with the same question: is it smart, and is it hot? Smart is the strategy: who you’re talking to, what you stand for and the commercial sense to make it sell. Hot is the taste: the identity, the imagery and the cultural instinct that make people want in. You need both. Most brands lean one way. Our job is to close the gap. We work across brand, campaign and experience. Strategy, naming, identity, packaging, websites, art direction, campaigns, content, activations and pop-ups. From building something entirely new to making something familiar feel new again. Sometimes it’s a whole brand. Sometimes it’s a moment that needs to be THE moment. The studio is led by directors Jasmine Gallagher (strategy) and Shy Trutwein (design), working with a close circle of senior collaborators depending on what the project calls for.
