The FAA is on the leading edge of a new frontier in commercial space transportation, building the next generation (NextGen) of satellite-based navigation systems, and fostering the safe integration of unmanned aerial systems into our airspace. IATA is an international trade organization, created over 80 years ago by a group of airlines. IATA (International Air Transport Association) represents some 360 airlines comprising over 80% of global air traffic.
