Afro Puff Chronicles is a platform empowering all women of color to share their experiences through art and writing. The world is full of stereotypes; we’re here to reclaim the narrative. Afro Puff Chronicles, otherwise known as APC, was founded in 2018 by founder, Tyler Newman. Birthed out of a need for the empowerment of women of color, especially through the arts, APC has since become a global news source and hub for the transference of identity-based experiences. Though based on Instagram, Afro Puff Chronicles Media extends to YouTube, Spotify, Anchor, as well as the APC site. It's staff of 50+ students are committed to sharing informative and empowering content across all it's channels. Most importantly, APC's monthly virtual events, from webinars to community forums, bring individuals together with APC's mission in mind—creating a space for girls of color to feel empowered, open, and heard.
