African Electroplating is a Gauteng based company started in 1978 by Peter Posniak, his wife and father-in-law. It has grown into one of the largest plating plants in the country. Our years of experience facilitate the delivery of service excellence, for which we continually strive. We are proudly South African and have ISO 9001:2008 certification and level Three BBBEE. We actively promote from within the organisation and have many senior staff who started at shop floor level. We are, in essence, still a business with a strong family ethic, and it is the norm to have family members working with us. We supply plating to most industries requiring metal finishing, including Furniture, Automotive, Medical and Construction. We have an effluent plant which is closely monitored by Johannesburg Water, and always complies with their requirements for toxic waste disposal. PRODUCTION CAPACITY At African Electroplating our capacity and expertise allows us to plate large runs of hundreds of thousands of identical items, or irreplaceable one-off items on any one of our plating lines. Day and night, and weekend shifts are scheduled according to workload. We understand that in manufacturing, urgencies arise, therefore flexibility.
