As the technical arm of the Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF), that provides growth capital and operational support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in emerging markets, CEED was created to address these gaps by enlisting successful entrepreneurs to mentor those looking to grow their businesses. Since its launch in December 2020, CEED Uganda has hosted over 20 successful peer-to-peer meetings and networking events.
