Aetā Studio is a new architecture practice based in Sydney, Australia with projects currently underway within Australia and abroad. The practice builds upon the extensive international experience of director Alex Matovic and a team of architects in the design and delivery of significant and award winning architecture projects across a broad range of building scales and typologies. Our commitment to design excellence manifests in tailored, site-specific solutions that bind the programmatic requirements of the brief to the cultural and environmental context of the site. We believe in a collaborative and participatory design process which eschews rhetoric and abstract theory in favour of a craft based methodology. Our interest rests fundamentally with the act and craft of making. We are committed to delivering solutions which are both commercially and environmentally sustainable while never losing sight of the ultimate goal which is to provide inspiring, enduring design solutions that bring delight and richness to the public and private domain.
