AESTIVUM, founded and managed by Mercedes Ruiz and based in Barcelona, was born with the aim of helping companies in the agri-food sector to operate efficiently and safely in the grain and oilseed markets, in order for them to increase their profitability. We have extensive experience operating in the Spanish as well as the international grain and oilseed markets. We therefore train and upgrade the sales and purchasing teams of companies belonging to different levels of the value chain, that want to operate more wisely in their market. Accordingly, we assist in the analysis of the risk they may take and we advise them on how to use risk management tools like futures and options, with the purpose of making them more profitable. Moreover, we help companies to know in detail how the market in their area works in relation to international markets, analysing how their local reality fits into the global context. We carry out market analysis, as well as consulting and training programs on risk management, sales and/or purchasing efficiency and supply chain optimization.
