Aero Facilities Information

Aero Facilities is Central Oregons premier hangar development, located on the east side of the Bend Municipal Airport. Aero consists of 24 acres of city-owned airport frontage, which has been master-planned into an attractive, efficient hangar community. To date, approximately 30% of the development has been completed. Aero Facilities began construction in 2008 with its initial set of 6 hangars. There are now a total of 21 hangars completed at Aero, with 5 more under construction. Four Aero building sites have been sold to private owners who will build their own hangars in the future. In addition Aero has a building site for 10 additional tee hangars (one building) upon which we anticipate breaking ground in 2019. Aero tee hangars all have electric bi-fold doors, insulation, and are large enough to accommodate a TBM or Epic sized aircraft. Aero Facilities is a unique home for your hangar. With a pilot lounge and common bathroom, wash station for planes, and a well-designed, elegant building campus, Aero will be the most desirable location for years to come for aircraft owners of all types. Long-term value is being built at Aero Facilities. All of the infrastructure to support hangar construction has been installed across the entire 24 acres at Aero. Gas, electric, cable, sewer and water are all available at each remaining Aero building pad. At present, there are four large pads available to build 100 X 100 foot custom executive hangars. There are 11 sites remaining for 80 X 80 hangars, 4 sites for 70 X 70s, and 12 sites for 60 X 60s. We are currently in the process of building 4 of those 60 X 60 hangars, in one large four-pack building. Completion is estimated to be in March of 2019. Aero can build your custom hangar from start to turn-key finish, or, a buyer can opt to build his own hangar, meeting the standards for all hangars in our development.
