The story of AERA SA began in 1979, in the North of Alsace, in France. The company created by Hubert Loeffler has quickly become an expert in paper and film packaging solutions. In 2007, the family-owned business was taken over by Jérôme and Thomas Loeffler. Since then, our product and service offer has been further worked on and developed. AERA SA operates in 3 different areas: 1. The cutting to size and processing of paper and film packaging AERA is the French market leader for BOPP film cutting to size. Our providers are among the world most important extruders, and we can process their full ranges of films (standard, coated, barrier, PVDC free, recyclable, rBOPP,etc.). NEW: We can now realize the cutting to size of a wide range of paper packaging (glassine, sealable, barrier, kraft, etc.) and sustainable films! 2. The sale of a wide range of shrink films The shrink films are made in France and are available in different thicknesses (from 9µ to 25µ). They can be used with most packaging machines currently available on the market. 3. The sale of packaging machines As the French exclusive reseller of Hugo Beck (Germany) and RonTech (Switzerland) products, we market paper and film packaging machines, as well as peripheral equipment (feeders, rack unstackers, etc.). Mainly used by the major global co-packing companies, those packaging machines can reach speeds from 2,000 to 18,000 per hour.
