The Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired supports professionals who provide education and rehabilitation services to people with visual impairments, offering professional development opportunities, publications, and public advocacy. AER supports and represents the discipline-specific interests of AER’s widely diversified professional members in several divisions including Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, Employment, & BEP Services, Multiple Disabilities and Deafblind, Psychosocial Services, Information & Technology, Low Vision Rehabilitation, Infant & Preschool, Orientation & Mobility, Education Curriculum, Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, Division on Aging, Itinerant Personnel, Personnel Preparation, International Services and Global Issues, Physical Activity & Recreation, and Neurological Visual Impairment.
