AEGEE-Leiden Information

AEGEE-Leiden is a student and travel association with over 320 members. We are part of a European network which includes over a 160 cities all over Europe. We were founded on October 31th 1985, which makes us one of the six founding locals and as one of the firsts ‘antenna’ we exist in the network. As a local we organise over eight trips a year, weekly social drinks, dinners, parties, hitchhiking competitions as well as other small activities. But beside everything we organise, there is a lot to discover in our European network. The goal of AEGEE-Europe is cooperation and integration between students from all over Europe to stimulate European unification while maintaining its own culture and language. This means that students can join exchanges, training courses, congresses and a lot of other things and get to know students from all over Europe at the same time. Students get the possibility to get to know each other and all the different cultures.
