Advocacy Tasmania Inc. is an independent community organisation that has provided advocacy services across Tasmania for over 25 years. Our team includes a Board of Governance, employees, volunteers and members, who all work to promote and protect the rights and interests of our clients. We provide free and confidential 'Your Say' advocacy services across Tasmania based on our 'Your Say' approach to advocacy. Our role is to help our clients speak up for themselves and to make sure that their own views and opinions are heard and understood. We are a founding member of the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN), which exists to ensure that people across Australia receiving residential and community services are informed, supported and have their voice heard.
