Advanced Respiratory Technologies, Inc. (ART) is a medical device company that is developing next generation lungs for long term use. ART is working to develop a highly biocompatible pulmonary assist device (PAD) for the treatment of chronic lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The PAD can improve the lives of chronic lung disease patients since it can be used for extended periods of time, allowing the patients to return home and live a relatively normal life.
