Our team of leading technologists and engineers brings over 100 years of combined experience in operations management, technology development and process design in starch, sugar and lignocellulosic-based ethanol, as well as food processing. We leverage our diverse experience, technical creativity and innovation to assist our clients in pioneering new processes and industries, replacing petroleum-based fuels and chemicals with bio-based alternatives. With food processing experts in key positions, AdvanceBio has expanded on our expertise in the global biofuels industry to support the growing use of commercial fermentation in alternative commercial processes, including biochemicals, protein concentrates, dietary aids and pharmaceuticals. This is supplemented by expertise in the design and development of protein manufacturing (of both animal and plant origin), as well as food ingredients and meat analogs. AdvanceBio is also an OEM supplier of skid-mounted research and commercial-scale process unit operations. Key technologies include ABS' SüPR•2G continuous horizontal screw reactor systems, employed in processes for deconstructing the matrix of lignocellulosic substrates. With exclusive Intellectual Property (IP) rights from over 50 years of demonstrated commercial operations, these reactors have proven capability in processing hard and softwoods, annual fibers and agricultural residues. Over 11 SüPR•2G units are in operation with rates ranging from lab scale to commercial applications of over 200 dry tons per day.
