Anoplate was founded by Milt Stevenson, Sr., in 1960 to serve a growing need among what was then a very small, locally based machine shop and tool industry. Anoplate operates from a 120,000 square foot facility, single location in Central New York State.
Anoplate offers metal finishing services nationwide including plating of copper, nickel, chromium, zinc, silver, gold, cadmium and tin, various types of anodizing of light metals, conversion coatings such as passivating and phosphating, dry film lubrication, small lot painting, and vacuum impregnation.
Anoplate's reputation for quality and workmanship, diversity in process offered, and ability to meet rigid specifications has led it to serve a broad base of industries including aerospace, computers, defense, electronics, medical, optics, and recreation.
Metal Finishing Company, Inc. was established in Wichita Kansas USA in 1940, the largest family-owned aerospace processing facility in North America. Employment stands at 600 fulltime employees, with over 680,000 square feet of process area. Facilities located in Wichita KS, Wellington KS and, Chihuahua City Mexico. Approved for over 100 aerospace finishing and pre-finish disciplines including heat treatment. Currently, we hold seventeen NADCAP accreditations companywide for Chemical Processing, Non-Destructive Testing, Heat Treatment, and Surface Enhancement. Metal Finishing Company holds more Boeing Process Approvals than any other processing company worldwide. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to track orders through processing and maintain traceability. On-Site source inspections and direct shipments to OEM’s.

Spray on Applications; 24 separate paint stations for Primers, Top Coat, Fuel Tank Primer, Teflon, Dry Film Lube, Non-Skid Coating, and Sol-Gel.
Non-Destructive Testing of Metals, Composites and Bonded Assemblies. Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection ( max size 25 feet X-Axis, 12.5 feet Z-Axis, 4.5 feet Y-Axis), X-Ray, Eddy Current, Weld Inspection, Leak Test and Pressure Test.
Heat Treatment of Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless, and Alloy Steels. Aging and extensive Straighten services.
