AdriaBio Information

AdriaBio is a biotech company based in Postojna, Slovenia, with an R&D program in epithelial biology, regenerative medicine and enhanced chronic wound healing. We are a young and enthusiastic team of scientists with extensive background in molecular and regenerative medicine, biotechnology and veterinary medicine. AdriaBio has successfully entered its 4th year of business and is developing a whole range of new advanced wound care products as treatment of chronic wounds like diabetic foot and venous leg ulcers, known under the name LifeMatrix-FX. We also offer our clients a variety of laboratory services, including cell reprogramming and generation of knock out, knock down and mutant iPSC lines. We strongly believe that without basic research no concept of biomedical diagnostics, therapy or product development is possible. We have learned from and are collaborating with some of the best epithelial and stem cell biology researchers in the world on a new generation of skin equivalents that may be used both for personalized therapy of surgical, acute and chronic wounds, and drug discovery purposes. Our mission is to develop products that will help medical doctors offer better solutions to their patients' problems. Our vision is to become one of the market leaders in cell based therapies and products. AdriaBio is also supported by the Slovenian Enterprise Fund.
