Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Nepal was founded in 1987 under the global brand of Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA)- a humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. ADRA’s mission is to work with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action. ADRA Nepal is legally operational in Nepal by signing agreement with Social Welfare Council (SWC)- a regulatory body established by the government of Nepal. Cohesion, accountability, flexibility, and impartiality are core value of ADRA Nepal whereas we regard respect, friendship, respect and honesty as relational value. ADRA Nepal’s history is closely attached to the health sector. For many years after its inception in Nepal, ADRA Nepal focused its services in the health services. Today, it’s services have been expanded to four core area- Health, Livelihood, Disaster Risk Management and Education.
