Adopt-a-Village International Information

A not-for-profit charitable organization based in Colorado Springs which matches resources to opportunities in extending a "hand-up" rather than a hand-out to small indigenous communities in Peru and Ecuador. Adopt-a-Village International is staffed exclusively by volunteers. Organizational overhead is extremely low because there are no expenses for facilities or for salaries. Adopt-a-Village International is non-sectarian: not affiliated nor associated with any religious organization. The work of this organization helps address fundamental community needs such as health, education, dental support, sanitation, potable water supplies, mobility (wheelchairs) and micro-businesses.
