ADER Foundation Information

Ader Foundation is a non-profit foundation for the prevention and care of Chronic Kidney Disease #CKD. Chronic kidney disease affects almost 100 million people in Europe, yet nearly two-thirds remain undiagnosed until the disease is advanced. In Spain alone, it's estimated to affect 15% of the adult population: every 75 minutes someone starts dialysis or receives a transplant. Driven by aging, diabetes, hypertension and obesity, CKD is projected to become the 2rd leading cause of death in Western Europe by the end of this century, even as deaths from stroke and heart disease decline. Ader Foundation works to change this trajectory: promoting early detection, prevention, and providing support for people living with kidney disease.
