Within desktop metal 3D printing we have a number of innovations, such as: LEAP™, Layered Encased Additive Process (pat. pend.) ----------------------------------------------------------- The LEAP technology combine an injection molding technology and an additive technology to greatly simplify the process of creating a 3d body with possibility for sintering in sinterable metals. The body is built layer by layer where a mold is created and filled in parallel. CODE™, Continuous Debinding (pat. pend.) ------------------------------------------------ We us an invention that makes it possible to perform debinding of the body continously while printing Skin Mold Technology (pat. pend.) -------------------------------------- The process uses a lost mold process, where the mold is made up of a thin polymer skin than encases the powder paste, this skin will be removed in the sintering step. Anti Fusing Agent (pat. pend.) ---------------------------------- The skin mold includes an additive agent that will block fusing of separated parts, and this allows for both easy removable supports where needed, and the possibility to do complex interlocked geometries.
