ADD Software is a software controls company that develops systems software for painting robots for the automotive industry as well as tier 2 and tier 3 part suppliers. We work with all the major car companies through FANUC Robotics. Using the FANUC proprietary software, ADD Software. custom programs painting systems that are integrated in factory paint booths to meet our customer’s specifications. About Us Add Software, LLC. is a company that provides software support for FANUC Robotics, specializing in the niche field of painting applications. We program painting systems that are integrated in factory paint booths. Mostly the software comes in three different categories. First, the PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) which controls the entire robotic system. Second, there is the GUI (Graphic user Interface) or HMI (Human Machine Interface) computers. These computers are for data gathering and to allow the operator to get a general view of the robot system to diagnose any problems that may arise and allow the operator to configure the system if needed. Thirdly, there is the robot software internal to the robot. This is FANUC proprietary software that ADD Software, LLC. has been granted the ability to customize to meet customer specifications. A typical robot system that we have worked on can run anywhere from $50,000 to $10 million.
