AdaptEM Information

AdaptEM is company providing fully programmable phase plates for electron microscopes. Our patented technology is based on individual Einzel lens controlling each of the 48 independent pixels forming the phase plate. Each pixel can apply a constant phase shift to the coherent electron wave front giving unprecedent control over the quantum wavefunction of the electron beam. Applications include but are not limited to formation of exotic beam shapes, adaptive aberration correction, contrast enhancement, symmetry selection in inelastic scattering, solution of inverse scattering problems, determination of chiral structures, seeing through thick samples, depth sectioning, increased depth of focus, and many more!
