Adapta Information

Adapta is a company that was created after 15+ years of incubation. Over time, we specialised in helping food supply chains adopt regenerative and climate resilient production practices. By helping corporate suppliers (the farmers) implementing the most promising regenerative and climate resilient practices at scale, our solution helps improving significantly the carbon, water, biodiversity, soil health and social footprints of our clients. Our program is called MAIS (Modulo Agroclimatico Inteligente e Sustentavel) and consists of: 1. Design and define a Regenerative Transition Production Protocol (RTPP) that is specific for the value chain and the biome and that is adaptable to the combined client and suppliers’ objectives 2. We implement the RTPP in the corporate suppliers through a hands-on technical capacity-building program. 3. We support the structuring of financial mechanisms to help farmers access the investments they need to finance the proposed innovations 4. We use our digital platform to monitor and evaluate the results and, if required, have a third-party certification of the socioeconomic and environmental results. The MAIS has won 14 awards, among which the UNFCCC Momentum for Change.
