Wioletta Wilk is the founder of Optimum Wellness Clinic in Mississauga, Registered Holistic Nutritionist with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner with the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. She also holds following the certifications: Before having entered the wellness field, she studied medicine in Poland and has worked as a Senior Underwriter, assessing medical risks for the Canadian health and life insurance industry, for 16 years. However, her passion for wellness and natural health began when her five year old daughter started to exhibit heart breaking medical symptoms. She sought the expertise of many specialists, but she was told either to wait and observe her daughter's medical condition, or put her on heavy prescription medication, which ran the risk of causing adverse side effects. Through her research, she came across a BIE practitioner who has helped her daughter to balance nutritional deficiencies and achieve homeostasis . Today, her daughter is a healthy child who is doing well in school and is participating in multiple extra-curricular activities. Ongoing education has always been a big part of Wioletta's life and she believes that she has been put through this experience to learn from it and share her knowledge about natural health with others.
At the Acupuncture Studio, we do community acupuncture. It's a style of acupuncture that is dedicated to putting the power of acupuncture into the hands of almost everyone, no matter what background they are coming from. And what is this power? It's the healing power of stillness, and it's in short supply in our modern world. Acupuncture influences change in the body, using stillness and allowing the body to heal in ways that are often unexpected and quite relaxing. ...we treat people for the side effects of living. Chronic pain, stress, women's issues. headaches, allergies, inflammation, fatigue and exhaustion, digestive issues; if life has caused it, we can often help. But please don't take my word for it. Acupuncture is experiential, and trying it for yourself is the best way to believe in it. how we do it: At the Acupuncture Studio, our mission is to make acupuncture effective, accessible and affordable. We charge a sliding scale of $20-$30 per visit to make acupuncture more affordable.
