Liberty Temple Christian Church began as a Friday night bible study that God birthed into a church. One day while at work, the Holy Spirit compelled Pastor Daniel Hughley to read I Corinthians 16:9, For a great door and effectual is opened unto me and there are many adversaries. This was the first seed sown to birth Liberty Temple. At God's appointed time, through a vision and a dream, He revealed and compelled Liberty Temple unto Pastor Hughley. He told him to Stand fast in the liberty in which Jesus Christ has made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1. God led Pastor Hughley to the appointed people - four families to start the church. Liberty Temple held their first official worship service on January 9, 1994 in Pastor and Sister Hughley's basement. In August 1994, we purchased the 3.5 acre property at 6039 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, Georgia. The property was renovated and on April 21, 1996 Liberty Temple held its first worship service in Stone Mountain. In August 2001, we purchased the adjacent 1.5 acre property at 6023 Rockbridge Road. In March 2005, we purchased a 3.0 acre property with 16,000 square feet church facility at 6400 Rockbridge Road. On Sunday, April 24, 2005, Liberty Temple held its first worship service at 6400 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, Georgia where we currently worship. God has blessed and kept us over the years. We are thankful for where He has brought us from and excited about where we are going. We give God the glory for all that He has done.

What if a school recognized that it is impossible to define a child or predict his/her success by any test, measurement, or label? What if it was possible for teachers and parents to partner in doing whatever necessary for the sake of the child, not simply what is the easiest? Move beyond what if and consider what already is. Rocky Mountain Christian Academy is a community that encourages: the formation of transformative habits, and enriching relationships with studies, people, and God RMCA serves students in preschool through 8th grade. Our mission is to equip and inspire our students and families to a lifelong passion for truth, goodness, and beauty. Through our application of Christian educational philosophy and principles, we offer families in the greater Denver area a community for them to mature and grow together. RMCAs association with Ambleside Schools International provides a comprehensive and distinctly Christian approach that engages each child via a whole-person education. ASI recognizes the importance of virtue and habit development alongside academic growth fueled by living ideas. In addition, ASI equips teachers to learn and teach together within a unified learning community. Along with ASI, RMCA also provides many opportunities for parents and families to grow in their enjoyment of lifelong learning. Since joining ASI in 2014, RMCA has deepened its understanding and application of the transformative principles and practices of Charlotte Mason as successive grades have transitioned to ASI classrooms. As RMCA continues toward offering Ambleside-oriented instruction across our campus, our goal will be to offer opportunities for each student to grow their whole person through exposure to timeless texts, engaging wise authors and teachers, and first-hand knowledge of the arts and sciences.
