actSAY (action for Sustainability and Youth) is a not-for-profit organisation providing educational programmes to empower youth to take action in shaping a sustainable future. At actSAY, we believe that a youth conscious of the relationships among the social, economical and environmental worlds and the resulting implications, would be the guarantor of a better future. Given their enormous energy and ability to influence, we see today’s youths as a key force in further promoting the message to other groups in society and future generations, while encouraging the practice of sustainability in businesses. Therefore, our programme has been conceived to raise awareness and encourage critical thinking about the multiple implications brought about by our daily decisions and actions, as well as those of businesses. We aim to foster sustainable behaviour in people’s interactions with these actors in the economy. These actions can be as simple as in how we choose to work, how we choose to buy and how we choose to live.
